Benefits for the Operator:
The new CX Series is up to 165kgs lighter than the competition, providing the end user with a potential increase in payload of 0.825 tonnes per day on a typical 5 loads per day schedule, or 200 tonnes extra payload each year. As well as the benefits of reduced fuel consumption, the cylinders provide 20% faster lowering speeds for the quickest possible turnarounds.
Other operator benefits include quieter operation due to a revised outer cover anti-rattle device, spill free filler and sight gauge oil indicator, higher safety as standard with no requirement for hose burst protection.
Benefits for the Body Builder:
The fully-integrated ram and tank design of the CX range offers far easier and faster build by avoiding the need for separately mounted tanks and controls and no exposed pipe work. Weight savings of up to 165kgs against competitor’s products are achieved with no compromise on lift capacity. |

Features of the CX Series Cylinder:

- Edbro’s special one-piece tube construction maximises cylinder strength at the top of each extended stage to resist side loads induced by the body during tipping.
|

- Stop-contact faces are an integral part of each tube, eliminating the need for grooves and separate clips, and avoiding the possibility of scoring and subsequent oil leaks.

- Edbro's unique sealing system reduces friction when lowering increasing seal and tube life. The use of double-lip wiper seals and non-metallic wear rings enhance durability over the life of the product.

 |
- An integrated hydraulic valve proves a more reliable solution for users, as the mounting position of the hoist control valve protects it from the elements.
|
 |
- Cylinder tube sizes are the same as previous models, making the hoists suitable for all 8x4 applications.

are designed for rigid trucks with 15 to 36 tonne GVW.
Average kit weight
relates to complete hoist kit including pta/pump. Actual weights vary according to
chassis installation.
